Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-04-26

These terms govern your use of OMEMO.global and the eSIM-and-app bundle we sell. Buying or using the service means you agree to them. We may update these terms; we'll keep the date at the top current and notify you by email if a change materially affects you.

1. What you're buying

A single bundled product: a prepaid global eSIM data plan with a set amount of data and a set validity window, delivered as an LPA activation profile, plus a lifetime install of the OMEMO secure messaging app. Plan amounts and validity are shown at checkout and are snapshotted onto your order at the moment of purchase.

2. Payment

We accept payment cards (via Stripe) and direct cryptocurrency transfers in BTC, ETH, USDT (TRC-20), and ZEC. Cryptocurrency amounts are quoted in your selected currency at checkout; the quote is valid for the window shown on the payment page. Send the exact amount; partial transfers are not auto-applied. Excess transfers will be reviewed manually — contact us.

3. Delivery

Activation details are delivered by email and on your order's status page after the network confirms your payment. eSIM activation is your responsibility — install the profile on a compatible device before the validity window starts.

4. Acceptable use

Use the eSIM and the app for lawful purposes. You may not use the service to facilitate fraud, spam, harassment, or illegal content, nor to circumvent applicable export controls or sanctions.

5. Refunds

If we cannot deliver an activation that works, we will refund or re-issue at your election. Refunds for activated eSIMs with data consumed are not generally available. Contact us with your order reference — we'll work in good faith.

6. The OMEMO app

The OMEMO app is open-source software distributed under its own license. We bundle download access; we do not warrant the app or the underlying messaging protocol beyond what its license provides.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

8. Service availability

Cellular network coverage, speeds, and country availability are provided by our upstream network partner. We aim for high availability but make no warranty of uninterrupted service.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those required by law. To the maximum extent permitted, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service is capped at the amount you paid for the order in question.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or for fraud or security reasons. eSIM data plans naturally expire at the end of their validity window.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Disputes are resolved by the courts of that jurisdiction unless local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
