Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-04-26

OMEMO.global is a privacy product. The shortest version of this policy is: we collect only what we need to deliver your order and support you. We don't track you across the web, we don't sell or share your data, and we don't use third-party analytics on this site.

What we collect

  • Customer email — provided at checkout so we can send you the eSIM activation details.
  • Order metadata— order reference, plan, price, payment method, timestamps. Stored in our database for as long as we're required to keep records (typically 7 years for financial reasons in most jurisdictions).
  • Payment records — for card payments, Stripe handles card details; we store only the Stripe identifier and summary. For crypto payments, we store the address quoted to you and the on-chain transaction hash once observed.
  • Provisioning identifiers — the eSIM activation code, ICCID, and SM-DP+ address returned by our network partner. Required to fulfill your order.

What we don't collect

  • We don't require an account, a name, an address, a phone number, or any government ID.
  • We don't embed Google Analytics, Meta pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts on this site.
  • We don't set advertising cookies. The only cookies we set are session cookies for the admin panel.
  • We can't read your messages. The OMEMO app uses end-to-end encryption — message content never reaches a server we control or a server we can subpoena. We have no key.

Who we share with

  • Stripe — when you pay by card. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Our network partner — we share the order reference and an email contact for the activation. They do not receive any name, address, or government ID.
  • Resend(or your operator's chosen email provider) — to deliver the order and fulfillment emails. They see the recipient address and email body.
  • We do not share data with advertisers, brokers, or any third party not directly involved in fulfilling your order.

Crypto payments and chain visibility

Cryptocurrency transactions are recorded on public ledgers. We cannot remove or obscure that record. The address we quote you is controlled by us; the transaction history is visible to anyone with a block explorer.

Lawful requests

If we receive a valid lawful request from a competent authority, we will respond with what we have. What we have is described above — we cannot produce records we don't keep, and we cannot decrypt messages exchanged through the OMEMO app.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, and to request deletion (subject to legal record- keeping obligations). Email hi@omemo.global from the email address on the order.

Retention

Order records are retained for as long as required by tax and commercial-record law. Email and operational logs are pruned on a rolling 90-day window. Crypto address records are kept while on-chain settlement may still be in flight.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top when this policy changes. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we'll email you.
